A student at North Port Townsend, Maren was the girlfriend of Brad and one of his many, many victims.
After he shared sexually explicit photos of her with Hunter, photos that were meant to be just for him, she tried to take their phones so she could delete the pictures before he sent them to the rest of the American Football team. Figuring it would be impossible to do it while they were conscious, she spiked his and Hunter's beer with nail polish to knock them out. However, they ended up dying in her bedroom.
Terrified and desperate, she called another one of Brad and Hunter's victims, Ritchie, to help her dispose of their bodies. Dragging them out to the Dragon's Den, they made it look like they had died from alcohol poisoning.
Guilt-ridden over the ordeal, Maren went on with her life, where she pretended to be his distraught girlfriend. In an agreement with Ritchie, should it be necessary, she would point suspicion towards him, as he had a motive to kill the pair. Though this was not necessary and their deaths were ruled as accidental.
However, this act would be uncovered by Crystal Palace and the Dead Boy Detectives, who were investigating the murder of The Two Dead Dragons for the spirits of both Brad and Hunter.
After she failed to kill Crystal, she tearfully apologised to her would-be victim and turned herself in to the police, telling them everything.
