Devising mutagens from the blood of the Gorgon Medusa, who Cale had imprisoned as a prototype bioweapon in her Qurac facility, Dr Poison outfitted each member with a serum that could enhance their physical body, adapting to the metagene and superpower already present.
Villainy Inc. clashed several times against Wonder Woman and A.R.G.U.S. With each confrontation, a team member was defeated and captured, leaving only Doctor Cyber and Poison free.
Nevertheless, they stuck to the plan, launching a pretend cyber attack on Cale Pharmaceuticals and freeing Silver Swan from A.R.G.U.S custody. Using this feigned assassination attempt to mask her involvement with the team, Cale's leaks to Villainy Inc. about Wonder Woman's movements were dismissed as Cyber breaching her "secure server".
With the exact location of Themyscira in their possession, they launched an attack on the island. Overpowering the Amazons, they deployed Medusa into the field. However, the Gorgon was far more powerful than the two doctors initially thought and they were slain by Medusa for their arrogance.
After Wonder Woman sacrificed herself to save Silver Swan, Kapatelis fought side by side with Diana, allowing the Amazon to decapitate Medusa and save Themyscira.
While the defeat of Villainy Inc. was a minor setback to Cale's goals, the results were ideal; she knew the location of Themyscira and all her allies who knew of her involvement with the team were dead.
Confronted by Wonder Woman, she boasted that she had won and there was nothing the Amazon could do to stop her. However, Diana warned her not to make idle threats, leaving her sword impaled in her office desk with the promise that, she would be waiting for Cale's next move.
