Ryan James - Earth 254182

A metahuman with the powers of telepathy and clairvoyance, Ryan James was in the same form class as Clark Kent during their time together at Smallville High, eventually discovering the truth of his heritage. Believing Kent to be a kind and decent person, he kept the secret to himself, not even raising it with the Kryptonian. 

He was best friends with Jake Pollen, hitting it off over their love of the British Punk Rock Sensation Mucous Membrane. They had even saved up enough money to see them live in Newcastle that Summer. 

While travelling with ten other fans, Ryan and Pollen were abducted by acolytes of The Order of Ancient Mysteries. Dragged away to Fawney Rig, they were brutally executed as part of an evocation; as part of the ritual, they removed his brain. 

His remains were transported back to Smallville, where his family held a funeral for him. Among those in attendance were Clark, his wife Lois, and their children, twin sons Jonathan, Jordan, and Johnny. 

James had been dating his high school sweetheart Tess Mercer. He had planned to propose to her after the trip.
