Batwing - Justice League Dark: Apokolips War

Surviving the initial purge of costumed heroes and meta-humans by Darkseid's forces, Batwing went underground with the rest of the Bat Family. There he waited for an opportunity to strike back and repel the Apokoliptians from Earth. 

Attacking one of the three Apokoliptian Reapers with Batwoman, Batgirl, Black Orchid and The House of Mystery, Batwing was shot out of the sky. His lifeless body fell into the ocean below.

Going underground after the Justice League's defeat on Apokolips, Batgirl continued to work as a hero, biding her time, and preparing to bring the fight to Darkseid. 

She and the surviving members of the Bat Family launched an attack on an Apokoliptian Reaper, fighting her way through the legion of Parademons guarding the device. 

Although she managed to hold her own, Batgirl was soon overwhelmed by Paradooms and torn apart. 

She was revived when the Flash created a brand-new timeline.
