St Hilarions School for Boys - Dead Boy Detectives: Season One

A Roman Catholic private school on the outskirts of London, St Hilarions School for Boys was attended by both Edwin Payne and Charles Rowland when they were both alive. Rithe with bullying, violence and child endangerment cases, over 74 years at least six pupils have either died or gone missing on the premises. 

In 1916, Edwin Payne was kidnapped and sacrificed to the demon Sa'al by a group of his peers. All five students - including Payne - were reported missing. The school dressed it up as an act of God and carried on operating without investigating the incident any further. 

In 1990, after saving a student from a group of bullies in a racially motivated attack - as the victim was from Pakistan - Charles Rowland was chased into a lake. The bullies proceeded to throw stones at him, causing the latter to sustain internal bleeding and hypothermia. Managing to get away from his assailants, he died shortly after in an abandoned attic. Once again staff at the school covered up his death as a "tragic accident."
