The teleporting genderqueer sentient street with love in their heart for everyone, no matter who they are, Danny the Street travelled the world providing homes for outcasts and misfits that society had abused, victimised and turned their back on.
Among their residents and visitors was Charles Rowland, a bullied British teenager studying at a private school in England, who loved his time with Danny and referred to them fondly as being "aces."
Years later, despite having changed their form into that of an ambulance, Charles still recognised his friend, vouching for their character when Danny came to London in search of the Dead Boy Detective Agency.
