The Man-Bat Pandemic - Batman: Wayne Family Adventures

Between May 18th – 25th, 2023, Gotham City was overrun by mutated Man-Bat hybrids, infecting innocent citizens and adding them to their colony. Over the course of one week, most of the G.C.P.D fell to the virus, leaving only a handful of law enforcement officers to field emergency services.

Forced to retreat to the downtown police precinct, the head of the resistance movement, Commissioner Jim Gordon, ordered his men to secure the building while he reached out to the Bat Family for assistance.

While Gordon did his best to maintain order, Batman and his allies began working on manufacturing a cure for the epidemic. Needing more time to gather the necessary equipment, Batwoman volunteered to go ahead and protect Gordon’s team, arriving at the precinct just in time to fight off a Man-Bat.

Working with Detective Montoya, Batwoman’s ex-girlfriend, the pair cleared the building, making their way to the roof.

Although she was injured and exhausted from fighting off the feral bats, Batwoman was able to hold the building long enough for Batman to complete the antidote.

While the two cousins prepared to take back their city, Spoiler, Red Robin, and Signal distributed the cure to the G.C.P.D officers.

Within 48 hours, the infected citizens were cured of the virus.
