Meeting on a dating app, Todd suggested a sports bar he often frequented for their first date. However, sensing Heather's discomfort due to her fear of being hurt for being trans, he quickly changed the location to a more comfortable setting. This marked the beginning of their romantic relationship.
Although he was often overwhelmed or confused by the magical antics that Heather found herself in, he kept an open mind and supported her through thick and thin whenever he could. He also got along well with the young nightmare, Ruin, welcoming him into their friend group.
When Heather was trapped in Faerie, Todd, with Ruin's aid, helped bring her back to their New Jersey apartment using a Faerie Seed.
With the matter in Faerie dealt with, Todd and Heather's lives went back to normal. He found new friends in Ben - Ruin's new boyfriend - and Azar, bonding over their mutual inexperience with magic.
