"The Boogieman" - The Sandman: Season One

The alter-ego of a renowned serial killer long dead, “The Boogieman’s” identity was stolen by the Chaste blogger Philip Sitz in 2021, who wished to attend the “Cereal Convention” in Georgia - at The Royal Empire Hotel - and meet the many “collectors” he was in awe of.

Although he was successfully able to infiltrate the convention, he was soon exposed to the event’s organisers, "Nimrod" and "The Good Doctor", by their keynote speaker, The Corinthian. For this insolence, he was taken to the basement and murdered by the three killers.
