The first hero to take up the mantle of Robin in 2006, Dick Grayson, choosing the name to honour his parents, was a skilled acrobat, having grown up performing with The Flying Graysons at Haley’s Circus.
Due to his difficulty in following basic instructions and often enthusiastic and risky behaviour, he would be banned from going on certain missions.
For a time, he was forbidden to go against Poison Ivy.
