The son of Sofia Falcone Gigante and Rocco Gigante, Luigi Gigante followed in his parents’ footsteps, working for his grandfather, Carmine Falcone. He is the younger brother of Vincenzo.
He was under investigation from Batman, Jim Gordon, and Harvey Dent, who had teamed up to rid Gotham of organised crime once and for all. However, the case was disrupted when Salvatore Maroni threw acid in Dent's face.
Luigi's whereabouts are curretnly unknown, going into hiding after The Roman's death.
