After his father left his mother, he was taken to Idaho to live with his aunt Lyta in the commune of Amazonia. Ostracised as one of the only males in the community, he remained close to his mother, who was also looked down upon for leaving to start her own family.
Educated in the doctrine of Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt, he trained alongside Barbara to become a respected hunter. The pair were evenly matched, at least when it came to wielding a bow.
At Lyta's request, Alexander and Barbara were pitted against each other to determine which of them was the best hunter. With no other choice, as Thena had been taken prisoner by his aunt, he ran into the woods to get his bow.
Falling into his sister's trap, he was shot through the heart with an arrow, killing him instantly.
